HEALTHY DOESN'T HAVE TO BE COMPLICATED

Hi, I’m Brittani!

Mamma to three rowdy boys and firefighter wife.

As a certified nutritionist and personal trainer I want to help make your mommy days a bit easier by teaching you HOW to feel and look your best. As moms we don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen or at the gym. I’m here to show you that you don’t need a fancy gym or crazy ingredients to nourish your body and live your best life!

Grab a coffee and stay a while, I’ve got so much to share with you!

xoxo Brittani

1. Set a goal. Figure out WHY you want to get in shape. Who is it for? Back when I was starting out, I found several role models and posted their pictures on my phone background, on my mirror and anywhere that I looked at often. It was a constant reminder of MY GOAL.

2. Start drinking water. Lots of it! We hear this so much that it becomes old news. water flushes out your system and makes your entire body run better. It also makes you lose water weight that you’ve been holding on to. Aim to drink 1 gallon of water per day.

3. Ditch processed foods. Don’t write me off after reading that last sentence. Can you still eat processed protein bars and “healthy” foods and reach your goal? Sure, it will just take you MUCH longer to get there. I wish I would have just made the jump early on in my journey. Sometimes it’s better to cut the BS from the start. After all, you want to see results, right? Just trust me on this one.

4. Keep your meals simple. Most of the time fancy recipes are going to have a lot of added and unnecessary ingredients. If you know me, you know I keep my meals simple. Give me a bowl, some protein, veggies and avocado and I’m good to go!

5. Get to know your body. Start paying attention to how you feel after you eat certain foods. Does dairy make you bloat? Do coconut based products work well for you? Every person is unique. If something doesn’t sit right with you, don’t eat it.
TIP: If you always experience bloat start with eliminating dairy, eggs and added sugars from your diet.
